MICRON 2.0

ImolaCeramica’s tendency is to never repeat itself, to always move forward. However, there are situations where this is not possible. These are not mere repetitions. Rather, they are new developments. This is the case of Micron 2.0, a project that takes the name of an ImolaCeramica “best seller” and reinterprets it in a contemporary key, to meet the needs of modern architecture, whether public or private. Innovative technology and new colours are the main elements that characterise this full-thickness porcelain stoneware, resistant and unalterable, suitable for outdoor, living and commercial use.

Tube absorbs and returns the vibrations that mark the vital rhythm of metropolises, tireless crossroads of stories and contaminations.
Capturing this extraordinary intensity, Imola has given life to a new product with an evocative metallic flavour, which in the rich combinatory potential of formats, colours, finishes and special pieces recalls some iconic elements of the contemporary urban dimension. The result is a project that combines underground sensibility and metropolitan elegance, a sense of the lived-in and impeccable style, a passion for materials marked by time and a taste for inspired recoveries, such as stained glass windows and walls of buildings now abandoned.

OVERCOME

The result is an industrial style concrete effect created in full-body porcelain stoneware, in which every piece is different as small multicolour grains appear almost randomly on the surface, as well as flakes in a range of medium light to medium dark tones in relation to the background colour.
